One big trend for fall this year is the Equestrian inspired trend.  As a horseback rider myself I am in love with this trend.  Think tailored blazers, lots of belts, buckles, tall boots, and bit details!

Cool ponytail holders (or what ever you like to call them) + headbands

I’m back!  Sorry I was away for a while, I will try to post as often as I can now that I am back!

I recently found a great type of hair ties that can double as bracelets.  These ties are gentle on your hair, and are super cute!  Most companies  also make these in a headband size.  I found a sets of these at Anthropologie, and they had printed and glitter ones (see below)!  Many different companies make these, and they are available in a wide array of colors.

DIY: Wrap bracelet

A couple of days ago I wrote a post on wrap bracelets, and today I will show you how to make the your self!  This is all you need:

My notes on the tutorial:

*You can use rhinestone chain instead of the ball chain

*I just tied a knot with the leather instead of using a hex nut.

*Clear nail polish helps keep the starting and finishing in place

*I went across the whole bracelet, then went back up with the string

Toms

Yay!  I finally got my Toms in the mail.  I decided to go with the aqua crochet ones instead of the normal ones.  I LOVE my Toms!   They make every outfit look effortlessly chic but you must be careful, because they can easily look a bit like slippers.  Toms come in many colors and styles.  They come in styles from glitter to plain to crochet and more.  It is probably a good idea to order yours now because they are selling out fast.  They are becoming a HUGE trend!  Also,  F.Y.I. you should order your Toms half a size bigger than you really are because they stretch out a bit.

I also recently heard that essie was making a polish to benefit Toms!  There is a picture of the polish at the bottom of this post.  I really hope I can find it 🙂

Trend Alert!

Hey you guys!  Sorry for my sporadic posting, I am trying my best.  I just wanted to tell you all about a soon to be BIG trend, Toms shoes!!!  I have already seen a bunch of people out and about with them.  They were kind of popular last year, and this year they will probably be a huge trend!  When ever you buy a pair, the company gives a pair to a poor kid in Africa.  Mine should come in the mail any day.  If you are going to get them, you should order them soon, because I heard that the company is running out of their stock and having trouble keeping up with all of the orders.  I will write a review about mine as soon as I get them!

Cute Necklace

I am in love with this cute kind of necklace which is basically a strand of pearls, but instead of a clasp it is a ribbon, with a big bow that you leave kinda on your shoulder.  It is kinda hard to explain, but just look at the pic at the bottom of the post.  The one I like the best has yellowish pearls, and the ribbon is grey.   I think I originally saw it at J. Crew.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me if you know where I could get a necklace like this.  Hope you like it as much as I do!
